Lindy is now an AI teammate rather than an agent builder: you hand it work in Slack, iMessage or email, and it uses your connected tools, meetings and files to get it done. It can suit a team that wants one shared assistant, priced per seat with pooled credits. It is no longer a tool for building your own agents, so DDR no longer scores it in that category.
Why Lindy no longer has a DDR Score
Lindy relaunched in August 2026 as Lindy Teammate, an AI assistant your team works with in Slack, iMessage and email. Its documentation no longer describes an agent builder, a visual flow editor or phone agents: you instruct it in plain English, and it works through built-in and saved skills, scheduled routines and your connected tools.
DDR's AI Agent Builder category covers tools for building your own automated agents, and its definition leaves out assistants you delegate work to, the same line it draws for the work modes of general AI chat assistants. Lindy's 6.71 was earned as an agent builder, so we withdrew it on October 9, 2026 rather than score a different product against criteria it no longer fits.

Lindy's plans changed again, with no price increase (October 9, 2026)
- Lindy's pricing page again lists three self-serve plans, priced per user: Plus at $29.99 a month (3,000 credits), Pro at $99.99 (15,000 credits) and Max at $199.99 (35,000 credits).
- On October 8 the same page showed a single plan, Team, at $29.99. Each plan is back at the price it had before that change.
- Lindy's documentation lists the same three plans, rounded to $30, $100 and $200. The pricing section on Lindy's homepage still shows Free, Team and Enterprise; DDR follows the pricing page.

Is Lindy still an AI agent builder?
Not in the sense DDR uses. Since its August 2026 relaunch, Lindy's documentation describes an AI teammate that works in Slack, iMessage and email, with skills, routines and memory, and no visual builder or phone agents. DDR withdrew its agent-builder score (6.71) on October 9, 2026; this review now covers what Lindy is and what it costs today.
How much does Lindy AI cost?
Per user per month: Plus $29.99 (3,000 credits), Pro $99.99 (15,000 credits, adds computer use) and Max $199.99 (35,000 credits); Enterprise is custom. Does Lindy have a free plan?
Not permanently. Lindy's pricing page shows no ongoing free plan; new sign-ups instead get $50 in free credits with no credit card required, and those credits last 7 days, after which paid usage starts at $29.99 per user per month. Lindy's seat-billing FAQ adds that teammates who join through Slack get a 7-day trial before the seat is billed while direct sign-ups are billed right away, so confirm the terms at sign-up.
Can Lindy work as an AI personal assistant for work?
Yes; that is the job it is built for now. Lindy manages your inbox (2 to 5 connected inboxes, depending on plan), prepares and records meetings, and handles follow-ups, with 40+ built-in skills you can extend with your own. Every task spends credits, so watch usage in the first weeks. It is a business assistant, not a phone assistant like Siri or Google Assistant.
Is Lindy reliable?
Lindy runs a public status page (status.lindy.ai). Users of the earlier agent-builder product reported task failures once workflows ran at scale, while early-setup reviews were strongly positive. Few reviews of the relaunched product exist yet, so that pattern may or may not carry over; DDR will re-read it as reviews accumulate.
How many integrations does Lindy have?
Lindy's own pages claim 1,000+ apps (its directory counts 1,400+ and its pricing page 1,500+), plus any hosted MCP server, and on Pro and Max it can operate a browser for tools with no integration. Its pages do not say how many integrations Lindy builds itself, so DDR does not publish a native count. Checked October 2026.
Does Lindy still offer AI phone agents?
No. Lindy's former phone documentation redirects elsewhere and no plan lists phone calling. DDR's guide to AI voice agents covers the builders and specialists that do take calls.
The Insider's Take
Lindy made a clear choice in 2026: instead of giving you a builder to design agents, it became the agent. That is a real product, and for a Slack-heavy team that wants meeting notes, inbox triage and weekly reports handled by one assistant, it may be the simplest option we have looked at. It is also a different product from the one we scored, which is why its number came off.
