Does Zoho Books Have Class Tracking?

Yes. Zoho Books supports class tracking, though Zoho calls the feature "Reporting Tags" rather than "classes."

Reporting Tags let you label transactions by category (department, location, class, or any custom grouping you define), so you can filter and break down reports by that tag later. This is the same underlying capability QuickBooks and Xero market under the "class tracking" name.

In practice, this means you can tag an expense or invoice as belonging to a specific department, project, or location, then run reports filtered to just that tag. This is useful for businesses tracking performance across multiple locations or cost centers.

Reporting Tags requires at least Zoho Books' Standard plan ($15/month billed annually, $20/month billed monthly). It's not available on the free plan. Every paid tier includes it: Standard, Professional, and Premium allow up to 2,000 options per tag, while Elite and Ultimate raise that to 5,000 options per tag.
